CAMDEN — For Phil Rowan, it seemed to be a natural evolution to become president and CEO of the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial.
"I'm excited about it," said Rowan, 58, of Cherry Hill, who is not related to the Burlington County entrepreneur who owns Inductotherm. "I've been involved with the battleship from the early days."
Rowan was a founding member of the Home Port Alliance and served as treasurer. The alliance is the nonprofit that oversees the retired Navy ship.

Four Cumberland County government and education entities are in the final stages of approving a solar energy project that could save them millions of dollars over the next 15 years.
